When I go for a haircut, sometimes I would like to have the option not to have to chit chat with the hairdresser or barber. I don't mind a little courtesy, but I don't always want a long conversation. Sometimes I just want to sit quietly and get my haircut.
What I would like is just to be able to either politely ask for less talk, or be able to indicate my preferrence when I make the appointment. That way they could also schedule less chatty hairdressers with customers with a preferrence not to chat.
